Scripture for Kids
The more we immerse our kids in scripture the better. The days pass so quickly. We look back occasionally and wonder where the time went, and I question whether I spent it wisely. Every opportunity to encourage my kids (and myself) to read, write, and reflect on scripture is an opportunity to hide his word in our hearts and we know that he will use it. Have your kids read the scripture out loud while they color. Or use music to help instill the words using rhythm or rhyme. Here are a few music videos that you can use with these scriptures from 2 Timothy.
2 Timothy 1:7 (YouTube – Worship Together Kids)
2 Timothy 3:16 (YouTube – Surpassing TV)
2 Timothy 3:16 (YouTube – The Rizers)
A dominant theme in the book of 2 Timothy is remaining faithful and standing firm even through suffering for the sake of the gospel. I hope these coloring pages encourage your family to think about how you can be bold in your faith in the face of opposition.
