Our letter of the week theme is “V” is for Vegetables!” (See the complete A-Z outline for the Preschool Learning Plan.) Along with the letter of the week, we explore numbers, shapes, and colors. You’ll get song, game, craft, and snack ideas, plus printables!

  • Physical activity: “volleyball” (see how long they can keep a balloon or beach ball in the air)
  • Do a veggie tasting: raw vs. cooked
  • Plant vegetable seeds or starts
  • Make a volcano (from Happy Brown House)
  • Set up a veterinarian’s office for stuffed animals (table, scale, stethoscope, bandages, kennel)
  • Make a vegetable journal: add a picture of each new vegetable your child tries
