Discussion or Journaling Prompts for Three Things Thursday
If you use a Three Things Thursday prompt in your classroom or homeschool as part of a morning meeting discussion or individual writing activity, here is a list of prompts to consider for July.
Include a Three Things Thursday activity as a low-key way for students to get to know one another. It’s also a way to provide no-pressure practice as a brief writing prompt. Or, add the question to your whiteboard or in your Google classroom to get kids thinking about a variety of topics.
If you’re not schooling year-round, this is still a fun way to engage with your kids. Jot down a prompt on a whiteboard and invite your kids to add their responses throughout the day. Another way to use the prompts is as a conversation starter. Surprise your kids with a silly or thought-provoking question when you sit for together for breakfast or dinner.
