Fun Facts to Celebrate a December Birthday

December Birthstone
December’s birthstone is tanzanite, which comes in a range of blue and violet tones. The most traditional birthstone for December is turquoise, and December actually has a third official birthstone—zircon.
Turquoise is one of the few birthstones whose name also describes its color! Zircon is not the same as cubic zirconia.
December Flower
The traditional birth flower for December is narcissus, a bulb that is normally grown indoors and will often flower within a month of planting with fragrant flowers.
A secondary birth flower for December is holly. This evergreen bush provides a beautiful bright red pop of color during the winter months.
